EARLY BLIGHTS

There are two related pathogens that cause foliar blight-type symptoms under this category. One is Alternaria solani, commonly referred to as early blight, whose foliar symptom is also called target spot. The other is Alternaria alternata referred to as alternata blight or brown spot when describing its foliar symptom.
