Darrell

Darrell is a hard red winter wheat developed by South Dakota State University and co-released with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It has performed well under irrigation in northeast Nebraska. It has a mature plant height of about 32 inches. Darrell is resistant to stem rust, and the Hessian fly. It is moderately resistant to scab and moderately susceptible to soil borne mosaic virus. Darrell is noncomplimentary to Karl and Karl 92.
