Jagalene
Jagalene
is a medium maturing variety with excellent straw strength. It is
resistant to stem rust, leaf rust and soilborne wheat mosaic virus.
It is moderately resistant to wheat streak mosaic virus and is susceptible
to Hessian fly. Jagalene is widely adapted to both dryland and irrigated
production and demonstrates good disease resistance and drought
tolerance. Certified seed is produced and marketed exclusively under
the AgriPro band name. Noncomplementary varieties include: Abilene,
Betty, Cutter, Jagger, Millennium, Nuplains, Ogallala, Rio Blanco,
and Thunderbolt.
