TAM 111
TAM
111 is a Texas A&M variety that is marketed by AgriPro in the
southern and central Great Plains. It has both excellent dryland
and irrigated yield records in Colorado, Nebraska, and Kansas. Unlike
TAM 107 or TAM 110, TAM 111 has very good milling and baking quality.
It has resistance to stem rust and stripe rust but is susceptible
to leaf rust. TAM 111 is moderately susceptible to wheat streak
mosaic virus and care should be taken to avoid planting next to
volunteer wheat. TAM 111 has average to good winter hardiness. TAM
111 is non-complementary to TAM 105, Buckskin, Jules, and Scout
66.
